| "Dreaming of Goldilocks" |
"Dreaming of Goldilocks" is, of course, based upon the children's story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Goldilocks has run
away, and in doing so, forgot her hat. The baby bear has fallen asleep with his chin on the brim of her hat, dreaming of ? The baby
bear is an imaginary little creature, based loosely on a young grizzly, but emphasizing soft, gentle characteristics - not a true
depiction of a young bear as I would normally do. This sculpture is all about fun and imagination, not anatomy-study. "Dreaming
of Goldilocks" comes in two different patinas, shown below.
